LV.01 Process

How it works.

  1. 01

    Add your PDF or notes.

  2. 02

Each round shows a scrambled key term and a clue sentence.

  3. 03

Type your answer; use a hint if stuck.

  4. 04

    Ten rounds, then your score.

LV.02 Why

Why play your notes?

Productive struggle

Rebuilding a word from its letters makes you think about its structure — prefixes, roots, suffixes.

Clue keeps it meaningful

The clue comes from your document, so you're recalling meaning, not just solving anagrams.

Best for

  • Quick vocabulary drills
  • Testing spelling of hard terms
  • Pairs of students racing each other
LV.03 Games

LV.04 FAQ

Questions.

Q1Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is opened by PDF.js inside your browser tab, the text is analysed on your device, and the game is built locally. Nothing is sent to PDFGame or anyone else, and closing the tab forgets it.

Q2Which PDFs work best?

Text-based PDFs: lecture notes, textbook chapters, articles, manuals, study guides. Scanned pages that are only images contain no text to read, so run them through OCR first. Plain .txt files and pasted text work too.

Q3Is it free?

Yes. There is no account, no limit on files and no watermark. The site is supported by ads on the page, never inside the game.
