Colophon
A PDF is a program that pretends to be paper.
PDFGame started from one delightful fact: the file format the world uses for invoices and boarding passes can run JavaScript, and people have used that to make Doom, Tetris and Breakout play inside a document.
What we do
- Collect PDF games. We host playable copies, explain how each one works, test where it runs and credit its author. See all games.
- Make a few of our own. Snake, Minesweeper and 2048 are written by us as hand-built PDFs, with their scripts left uncompressed so anyone can read them.
- Turn your PDFs into games. Our PDF to Game tool builds quizzes, flashcards and puzzles from a document — entirely inside your browser.

The collection exists because of the people who made these games. Thank you to:

Some games reached us without an author's name. If you made one of them, email [email protected] and we'll credit you — or take it down if you prefer.
