Why play your notes?
Discrimination practice
Telling similar concepts apart — evaporation vs. sublimation — is where students lose marks. Matching puts them side by side.
Fast enough to repeat
A round takes under a minute, which makes it easy to play three or four times in a row.
Best for
- Quick five-minute warm-ups
- Classroom projection — it works on a big screen
- Learners who like a race

Questions.
Q1Does the matching game work on mobile?
Yes. Unlike the classic PDF games, these study games run as normal web pages, so phones and tablets are fully supported.
Q2Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened by PDF.js inside your browser tab, the text is analysed on your device, and the game is built locally. Nothing is sent to PDFGame or anyone else, and closing the tab forgets it.
Q3Which PDFs work best?
Text-based PDFs: lecture notes, textbook chapters, articles, manuals, study guides. Scanned pages that are only images contain no text to read, so run them through OCR first. Plain .txt files and pasted text work too.
Q4Is it free?
Yes. There is no account, no limit on files and no watermark. The site is supported by ads on the page, never inside the game.
